While working in the University of North Florida’s Honors program, Ali taught several interdisciplinary (IDH) honors courses.

Since 2011, Ali has served at FSCJ, most recently as the GEARUP Program Manager. Prior to her service with the GEARUP grant, Ali worked as Director of Dual Enrollment. In this capacity, she collaborated with numerous guidance counselors, faculty members, and other professionals in both the Duval and Nassau county school districts. Her diverse professional experiences include contributions to student services, articulation agreements, faculty and staff professional development, and large-scale event planning.

After earning her Associate in Arts degree from FSCJ, Ali received a Bachelor of Arts from St. Vincent College. With a Master of Arts in Teaching English from Jacksonville University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida, Ali enjoys serving as an adjunct instructor and teaches a variety of courses in English composition and literature as well as student success strategies.
