In the workshop, "Escape the Dull Classroom: Tools for Student Engagement," participants played the "Pi" Game (one of many games available in our libraries) and learned new tricks of the trade to engage our young, visual students.
Recently, the Academy offered the workshop "Digital Inclusion" held at the downtown Administrative Offices building. We found the participants actively engaged with their new technology.
FSCJ values the work of our part time faculty and has instituted a professional development program just for them. Our new adjunct academy got off to a great start when our first cohort met for their Cornerstone on Saturday, January 20th!
