Every fall, FSCJ hosts the “From Root2Stem” Science Symposium. Our goal is to provide a forum for K-12 and college science educators as well as those who support them to learn from one another as we share ideas and resources. As we recognize the need to more effectively prepare our students to engage with challenging scientific issues, session topics have spanned a broad range of themes, including: Environmental and Health Issues, Online Resources, Educational Professional Development, and Student Opportunities for Engagement. Our next event is scheduled for October 15, 2021, from 9am to 12:30pm.
Please see below for recordings of our Symposium (held fully online). Feel free to bookmark this webpage as it will continue to be updated with information regarding future symposiums as well.

We are especially interested in presenters who can share creative teaching topics and methodologies, laboratory activities, or field studies. Any science-related topic is welcome.
