International Faculty Educator Certificate

Overview

FSCJ's International Faculty Educator Certificate Program is aimed at preparing faculty to become familiar with the Global Scholars Distinction, Virtual Exchange, and Study Abroad programs through the Center for International Education. Faculty will qualify to obtain this digital credential upon completing five professional development classes, submitting one proposal to globalize a class, and conducting a virtual exchange or study abroad program.

    To successfully complete the program, the employee must:

    • Complete the 8 hours of required courses and proposal submission

    We provide a verifiable and secure digital credential for this certificate completion, symbolized by a badge that is sharable with career networks. The digital badge serves to signal achievement to current and/or potential employers; to motivate engagement and collaboration; and to build upon and formalize identity, reputation, and value within educational and professional communities.
